Growth Technology Liquid Silicon  is a highly concentrated potassium silicate (6% soluble silicate) additive formulated to strengthen plant structure from the inside out. Application Rates & Directions

Note: Liquid Silicon is highly alkaline and an aggressive liquid concentrate. Always wear protective gloves and eyewear when handling. 

• Standard Soil & Hydroponics Dosage: Mix 0.5ml to 1ml per litre of clean water (or 5ml to 10ml per 10 litres). Use 0.5ml for hard-water regions and up to 1ml for soft-water or reverse osmosis (RO) systems. 
• Crucial Mixing Instructions: Always add  Liquid Silicon to your water FIRST and stir thoroughly before introducing any other nutrients or additives. Mixing silicon directly into concentrated nutrients causes a chemical reaction where minerals precipitate or "drop out" of the liquid. [,
• Foliar Spraying: Mix 1ml per litre of water and spray leaves lightly for direct structural absorption. Avoid spraying under direct, intense grow lights to protect foliage from scorch. []
• pH Balancing Adjustments: Once your silicon and base nutrients are mixed, check the reservoir's pH. Because silicon raises water pH drastically, you will likely need to apply a small amount of pH Down to stabilize the solution back to your target zone (typically 5.8 to 6.2)
